Title: M365 Administrator
Industry: Banking
Type: Contract (12 months)
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Working hours: 9 – 6 (comfortable to work during weekends, after office hours, travel to recovery site when required)

ROLE PURPOSE:

Deliver reliable and robust assist in the operations and support of Microsoft solutions to meet business objectives and technical requirements, to create effective knowledge sharing, collaboration and workflow solutions to drive the effective delivery.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist with training and adoption of new Microsoft 365 solutions and processes including delivery & creation of training plans, materials and documentation.
  • Provide technical user support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk and resolve system / application issues.
  • Explore ways to scale Microsoft’s offering, such as with the Power Platform, within the organization based on business opportunities and other technical innovations.
  • Work with the Microsoft 365 cluster team to develop, manage and implement the Microsoft 365 roadmap, leveraging new platform innovations as they are released.
  • Assist with the migration of content from various sources (SFTP , one drive, SharePoint etc.) to Microsoft 365 environment as designed.
  • Offer technical support on Microsoft PowerBi platform,O365 Exchange Online, Teams to staff in the organization.
  • Supporting the provision of Power Platform environments, working closely with the application support team.
  • Providing a support service for users receiving Incidents and Work Requests from Service Desk.
  • Escalating issues to vendors and managing tickets to resolution.
  • Maintain uptime by pro-active management and monitoring to ensure environment health, and minimise disruptions to mail-flow.
  • Ensure awareness of and support adoption of M365 roadmap and new tools and capabilities and potential use within Brit.
  • Assist with management of all M365 services (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power-BI, Power Automate, Stream etc.).

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Academic Qualifications: Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering or relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience: At least 3 years experience in, experience in successfully supporting Microsoft 365 products and platform technologies administration and support. Working experience in application server platforms, virtualization or cloud technology, web services, and middleware.
  • Knowledge: Exposure to Microsoft 365 technologies spanning across wide range of domains (but not limited to) such as Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Outlook, Intune, Conditional Access, Microsoft Information Protection, OneDrive.
  • Strong technical and administrative skills on Android, iOS.
  • Good analytical skills and adept in managing device profiles, device compliance, O/S updates, app catalog.
  • Good communication and troubleshooting skills and able to manage end users’ expectations effectively.
  • At least have one Certification in Microsoft and/or competing Cloud Technologies strongly preferred.

  • Ability to understand the application business area and perform application support, software testing, software design & development, application integration, and project management in system development.
  • Good understanding of high availability design and concept, application security testing, windows desktop environment and cloud technology authentication and access control principle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.
