The Project and Branch Ops Support Manager's key responsibility is to act as a Business Project Manager and provide support to the branches. This role reports to the Manager, Branch Ops Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective Project Management of Branch Teller System and other related projects and enhancements, working in liaison with IT, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular and effective project status updates and reports to Management to ensure no overruns.
- Development of User Requirement Specifications (URS) as an integral document for projects and enhancements related to Branch Teller System and other related system applications.
- Manage and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) exercises with Business IT Support and branches.
- Coordinate and ensure successful implementation of enhancements / projects at Branches.
- Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) and act on the lapses or issues.
- Development and updates of Branch Operation Support SOPs, policies, guidelines and ensure implementation at branches and other related business/operation units.
- Execute all documentation requirements via the ERP system (PtoP) in relation to Capex, Opex, project invoice, budgeting and resource planning.
- Management of audit, risk and regulatory compliance matters and ensure full compliance and resolutions.
- Provision of post implementation support to branches and management of feedbacks and operation issues.
- Coordinate regular meeting/training/briefing to Business Unit/Branches.
- Provision of related MIS and data for analysis and strategic planning.
Job Requirements:
- Malaysian citizen.
- Degree &/or professional qualification in Business/Finance/Banking/IT or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years’ in project management, and/or operations support in related field.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, through all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferences:
- Experience in project management relating to financial institution systems (software houses and system application vendors).
- High perseverance in a challenging and enhanced result driven environment will be an advantage.
- Possess good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong team spirit player with a positive attitude and having the drive to improve processes.
