Job title: MANUFACTURING PLANNER

Summary/Objective

The Planner’s role is to plan, manage, monitor and follow-up on delivery schedule and expedites. Roadmap transfer and work center hours balancing.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

• Review and scheduling Large Order Expedites, coordinate with Purchasing on material requirement.
• Coordinate with customer service and work center on pull in/push out request.
• Coordinate with Order Management and work center to prioritize P1/ DPAS orders.
• Customer forecast and capacity review.
• Monitor and follow up on delivery schedule

• Review and monitor work center, expedite/email follow up to ensure orders ship on time
• Review past due /due order/ STCAP report
• Engage with internal departments on resolves issue to minimize impact and ship order on time
• Work with material planner to expedite needed material and achieve customer requirement

• Review production capacity identify hot spot, risk to capacity and actions to minimize the risk.
• Roadmap / ASPs / product transfer execution, hours balancing between plants and work center.
• Coordinate with internal team on New ASPs capability review.
• Review and monitor JB overall run ahead%, OTD% performance.
• Any task/project; as and when assigned by Superior
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing / related technical or equivalent experience.
