The Role • Assisting with the management of all customer accounts; • Ensuring that all customer requirements are met in a timely fashion by liaising effectively with internal departments; • To arrange with the forwarders and transport providers and make the required bookings for all deliveries as soon as the purchase orders are received from the customer; • To ensure all the relevant shipping and other documents required for the export and clearance of products is generated from the system on time and accurately and passed on to the customer without delay; • To ensure all invoices are generated accurately and sent out to the relevant customer in a timely fashion and all debt is collected in a timely manner; • Handling all customer complaints by ensuring clear and concise reports are prepared and submitted to the customer within the established timeframes by co-ordinating with the required personnel and ensuring a full root cause analysis is carried out and proper corrective/preventive action is taken to address the issues; • To assist the Marketing Manager with communicating closely with customers to understand their requirements for the year and hence be able to meet their needs in relation to new/promotional launches; • To effectively manage customer forecast and to monitor purchase trends and advise the customer of stock in hand whist highlighting to production arm where stock levels are low; • Assisting with the preparation of raw material forecasts, particularly in relation to paper and board; • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and all other reports required by the customer and carrying out the required research and producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for the Marketing Manager/on behalf of the company; • Ensuring that forecasted sales and performance targets are achieved; • Co-ordinating with logistic providers to ensure transportation arrangements are made on a timely basis to meet customer deliveries in full and on time (DIFOT); • To ensure that all information are updated in a timely fashion and maintained accurately on the ERP System; • Assisting in scheduling and calling for the required meetings, and ensuring an agenda and minutes are circulated and that the meeting is minuted properly. • Carrying out all other related tasks as may be required or assigned by your Manager.Our group is a key player within the supply chain for the global food industry; producing innovative packaging products using the latest technology and state of the art facilities.
