Job description

Responsibilities:

• Check and comment on mechanical & electrical (M&E) construction design, resolving technical and quality issues arising at site
• Monitor the overall M&E works progress, work scheduling, manpower and material schedules
• Preparation of Method Statements
• Prepare, coordinate and execute term and condition of M&E works, as-built documentation as well as O&M Manual
• Plan, supervise and coordinate M&E works at site including activities related to procurement, installation, testing and commissioning and conduct quality inspection and control
• Check and accept all incoming/outgoing equipment and materials as per specification in accordance with QA/QC approval
• Attend meeting and coordinate all site matters with various contractors, consultants and relevant authorities
• Oversee the preparations of as-build drawings, testing and commissioning results and operation
• Update all M&E services shop drawing and coordination drawings
• Prepare and check documents for submission to clients (such as method statement, Request for Information form, Transmittal form, Testing & Commissioning form, monthly report, progress report)
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 year(s) of relevant working experience with minimum 2 years working experience as M&E Supervisor
• Familiar with M&E works and / or system and do testing on M&E works
• Review & Understand Shop Drawings
• Able to resolve technical problems and clashes on site
• PC literate in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project & AutoCAD
• Able to work independently and interact with all levels of staff
• Able to Work under tight deadlines, resourceful, discipline and has initiative and good working attitude
• Possess good writing and presentation skill
• Possess own transport, able to travel outstation & work independently with minimum supervision
• Various site location: Selangor, Kuala Lumpur & Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu
