RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, layout, document and supervise manufacturing, testing and application of contactor and test interface solutions.
• Interface with customer, supplier, sales, customer service engineer and team members with minimal guidance.
• Follow engineering procedures and specifications to develop contactors related mechanical designs. Generate design documentation, detail part drawings per DIN standards, assembly drawing and Bills of Materials.
• Design and monitor the development of contactors and/or modified designs.
• Perform contactor design refinement and/or advancement to meet constant changes in customer preferences or requirements.
• Provide services to contactor users on test applications and technology.
• Actively participate in all phases of the project, including requirement definition, design, development, research, fabrication, testing/integration, customer interface, maintenance, safety, and economic utilization used in the manufacture of contactors.
• Modify fabricated parts from redlined drawings or verbal instruction.
• Generate Engineering Change Orders and Bills of Materials.
• Assure on-time availability of contactor design to manufacturing and customers.
• Support manufacturing floor as required.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or any equivalent Engineering discipline.
• Experience: Two years in machine design for automation equipment/robotics and/or pneumatic systems or two years experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Skills/Technical Requirements: Advanced knowledge of latest release of SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Working knowledge of DIN Standards, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Assembly Tolerance Stack Up Analysis, ERP system and Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
• Have strong interest and passion in design. Self motivated, creative, innovative, and perspective.
• Fast learner with ability to independently anticipate, prioritize and manage multiple priorities and to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• A team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work and communicate effectively with multinational and multicultural team members for a common consensus.
