Job description

Responsibilities & Authorities:

· To oversee the daily operation of the hoist production staffs.

· To plan, coordinate & monitor the hoist /winch fabrication cum installation and ensure adherence of project’s specifications and schedule with weekly updates.

· To liaise with factory workers / subcontractors on the hoist/winch/mechanical parts fabrication and ensure all are fabricated according to design requirement prior to each delivery.

· To plan, monitor, source, purchase and replenish the components, consumable required for hoist / winch production.

· To carry out task as per ISO 9001 standard procedures

· To liaise with third party/suppliers on the new products purchases, subcontract works, commissioning works, trainings, certification and technical supports.

· To check the manufacturing drawings produced by draftsman and ensure the drawings are in accordance to project specification and design code.

· To be responsible for the development of new hoist design and material handling products and seek for new improvement on the existing design in accordance to the design code (FEM)

· To develop new hoist/winch design standard and contribute technical knowledge obtained through troubleshooting, technical advice from supplier or trainings to the “VME Mechanical Library” folder.

Education & Experience (Preferred):

· Diploma or Degree in Mechanical /Mechatronic or Equivalent.

Minimum 2 years working experience in relevant field.

Skills & Knowledge (Required or To Be Provided if do not possess):

· Knowledge in AutoCAD & Solidworks

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office

· Able to interpret engineering drawings

· Basic knowledge in mechanical design and engineering calculations.

· Good interpersonal & communication skills

· Able to work independent & able to work in a team, self-motivated, dynamic, hardworking, positive thinking.

Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
