Job description

• Responsible for the maintenance, overhaul and repair of machinery, equipment, electrical and instruments
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, repair works and fabrication work on all processing equipment, machinery’s and facilities
• Trouble-shoot mechanical problems and to rectify them in daily operation
• Ensure the safety operation of all machinery’s and equipment
• Upkeep and maintain plant machineries to ensure they are in good running condition
• Record and document all maintenance work carried out
• Maintain, repair and optimize PLC controls and assembly equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Alert Maintenance Manager in case of unusual occurrence and/or damage.
• Support to implemented safety standards.
• Organize and manage the maintenance of the plant facility.
• Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
• Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
• Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
• Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
• Resolve motor, pump, conveyor and hydraulic problems.
• Handle personal tools for job including up-to-date documented personal tool lists.
• Work all shifts flexibly when job demands.
• Available for breakdown calls at all times

• High school Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willing to relocate to Bentong, Pahang to work
• Able to work in shift.
• Must have own transportation.
• Related experience in similar industry will be an added advantage mainly in manufacturing field.
