Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Mold Operator is responsible for the use of molding equipment as they relate to: Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, Assembly Procedures, Acceptance Procedures, Inspection Procedures and Drawings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform daily tasks as directed by Supervisor or Lead personnel;
• Prepare for the accomplishment of the responsibilities through:
  • Training to all pertinent Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, Assembly Procedures, Acceptance Procedures, Inspection Procedures and Drawings
  • Gather all parts, tools and supplies needed for particular job
  • Perform inspections needed for particular job
  • Record inspections data on appropriate form
  • Proven ability to operate machinery in a safe manner
  • Comply with company safety guidelines
• Contribute to the Team effort by accomplishing related activities as needed;
• Perform minor equipment maintenance as directed by Lead, Technician or Supervisor;
• Ability to train new operators using current Manufacturing assembly Procedures (MAP and AP…)
• Report unsafe condition to Supervisor or department Lead;
• Keep work environment clean and organize;
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds;
  

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal English instructions;
• Have good communication skills.
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds;
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience with automation equipment;
• Prior knowledge of molding;

Education:

High School diploma or GED is required.

This position primarily works in a production environment. It requires frequent lifting, standing and walking, and the ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
