Job Summary
Deliver the company’s goods in good condition to all outlets in Peninsular Malaysia in 3, ton, 5 ton or 8.5 ton, and 10-ton trucks within the time schedules. Maintain the trucks in good condition at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive safely to deliver all goods and products in good condition to all assigned locations including outlets, hotel, supermarket and event within timelines.
• Ensure all frozen products are kept under refrigerated conditions at all times.
• Ensure the truck and refrigeration are always in good condition. Conduct required checks periodically including before the start of the journey.
• Load and off load goods properly to avoid damages.
• Always follow routes and schedules as determined by the logistics team. Any deviations due to unforeseen circumstances are to be communicated to the logistics team immediately.
• To ensure all goods to be counted vs DO and to check the condition of products in good conditions before leaving the warehouse.
• Verify and acknowledge the goods received from storekeeper or 3rd party warehouse or delivery to outlet and variance and issues to be highlighted to superior or PIC in Logistics immediately
• To be responsible for overnight cargo safety in trucks prior to delivery schedule.
• Collect all required documentations upon delivery. Check to ensure all documents (DOs, etc) are signed and correctly acknowledged by the recipient. All documents including drivers log receiving are to be returned to the logistics team immediately upon return to the office to avoid any delivery issues.
• Highlight any issues with products, vehicles, schedules, etc, quickly so that problems can be resolved to avoid disruption in deliveries.
• Comply with all warehouse procedures to ensure safety, food hygiene and handling are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness (to wash the truck on weekly basis) of trucks and ensure they are serviced as per maintenance schedule and meet PUSPAKOM’s inspections. Also ensure that insurance and road tax are valid and renewed accordingly.
• To alert superior on the services, maintenance, tires replacement and repair requirements in advance.
• To be accountable for any cost incurred due to self-negligence.
• To support and perform changes, ad hoc or urgent delivery when is required.
• To support the warehouse team when there is no delivery job to perform or instructed by superior.
• Carry out any others and ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.
