Job description
Superior Fence & Rail is a fence industry leader seeking an experienced, full-time Permitting Coordinator for immediate hire. Typical work hours are from 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Pay starts at $16.00 - $25.00/per hour, depending on experience. Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing drug testing and background check.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file all permits with various municipalities; including local HOA
- Research property records via tax collector website
- Submit utility locales via irthnet website
- Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas
- Receive inbound calls from customers
- Perform data entry as needed
- Track the status of open installation jobs
- Assist operations personnel as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of previous permitting experience
- Prior office software experience (Microsoft Office or Google’s G Suite)
- Candidate must be detail oriented and organized
- Polished and professional in demeanor and possess a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Proficient in typing and possess strong computer skills
- Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates, supervisors, and customers
- Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude
The Superior candidate will be:
- A self-starter with an experienced permitting and office background
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
- Skilled in verbal and written communications
