We’re looking for a highly organized, and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to play an important role on our team. You’ll be responsible for filing, assisting with Accounts Payable, monthly reports, processing client settlement checks, entering client costs into the ledger, managing and paying vendors, handling bank deposits, and various other duties as needed.

• 
  Must have knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, QuickBooks, and Case Management Software
• Responsible for processing incoming checks in the mail
• Responsible for client/vendor data entry in QuickBooks, processing bills and invoices for payment, and verifying the accuracy of the same
• Responsible for check distribution to handling pod
• Process incoming checks, count, and sort them out for deposit
• Daily enter key data of deposit transactions into the database
• Supporting Executive staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasks
