About the Opportunity
The Physician Recruiter will source and attract physicians, CRNAs and mid-level provider candidates for our physician practices and ASCs nationwide.
The Physician Recruiter will develop and execute Covenant Physician Partners (CPP) strategic physician recruitment plan. Working closing with CPP Executive Leadership team, practice leadership, Regional Vice Presidents of Operations and Business Development, this role will work to foster relationships in and out of the CPP network to establish a strong brand presence and communicate the value proposition of the CPP network. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, proactive and creative recruiting ideas including. This position will play a critical role in ensuring that we attract the best possible talent.
This is a hybrid position with 3-days in office in Nashville and 2-days work from home.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
1. Effectively markets open positions and the organization to applicants and applicant sources.
2. Communicates regularly with stakeholders to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
3. Facilitates interviews and candidate debrief sessions.
4. Oversee the coordination of itineraries for provider candidates which includes flight, hotel, and transportation accommodations. May also assist providers with arranging real estate tours.
5. Follow up with candidates throughout recruiting process, including offer, negotiations, relocation, contract signing.
6. Assist in the sourcing, hiring and scheduling of CRNAs.
7. Participates with leadership team and human resources team on recruiting planning meetings.
8. Conducts regular follow-up with leaders/hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
9. Attracts applicants by posting openings in advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
10. Regularly solicit referrals from network providers for both experienced providers as well as Fellows.
11. Responsible for various recruitment methods traditional and progressive, i.e., practice websites, industry career websites, advertising, direct mail, cold calling, provider career fairs, and industry provider databases.
12. Facilitates strong personal connections with provider candidates, network providers and fellowship program directors through in person meetings; this may require travel throughout the United States.
13. Captures key decision drivers of provider candidates and fellows in the pipeline such as geographic preferences, compensation and/or path to partnership requirements.
14. Makes presentations to professional organizations and other resources to promote the organization and broaden the recruiting net.
15. Implements and maintains recruitment results and reports.
16. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws and ensures compliance.
17. Works with credentialing and enrollment teams to ensure provider onboarding.
18. Compiles compensation survey information.
About the Candidate
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. Two years recruiting experience for physicians, advance practice providers and/or CRNAs, or other applicable experience.
3. A broad understanding of federal and state laws relating to the operation of company business lines.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal labor regulations, employment law, personnel administration, employee relations, and compensation/benefit administration.
