We have outgrown our space and will be relocating to a larger facility. We are in need of skilled manufacturing engineer or senior technician to tackle a variety of hands-on product manufacturing and development projects. In this position you will supervise and take part in fulfillment of manufacturing jobs, specify and/or develop tooling and fixturing as needed, develop and document manufacturing processes, work with sub-contracted vendors to specify and procure high quality subassemblies and components, participate in product R&D, and more. You will also be a key player in the setup of a new manufacturing facility, and lead the implementation of new systems and processes such as ERP and inventory management systems.

In addition to having skills and experience, an outstanding candidate will desire to learn, perseveres through challenges, is great with people, values both humility and assertiveness, takes rigorous notes, and thoroughly documents their work.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, especially but not exclusively involving PCBA assembly, wire harness production, product assembly, electronics testing, or optics. They will have existing leadership experience or typically find themselves assuming a leadership status within a team. They will be sharp and thorough while solving problems and pushing themselves and their team along at a fast pace. They will be creative and highly organized, and will enjoy finding new and more effective processes to manage work. They will likely have a home electronics lab, woodworking shop, or other well-outfitted technical hobby space, incorporating elements of electronics, software, mechanical design, or fabrication.

Some preferred training & certifications include IPC-A-610D, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, NCATT AET, or other commercial, aerospace, or military electronics (Mil-Spec) and wiring standards. Experience with DO-160, IEC, UL, or other environmental testing are also beneficial.

We offer competitive pay and benefits along with development and advancement opportunities, and the opportunity to learn, experience, and lead many different aspects of product development and manufacturing.
