Job Description

We are searching for new team member who is self-motivated with a strong background in mechanical engineering to join our diverse team. The scope and complexity of your tasks will be based on your existing knowledge and capabilities as well as how fast you can acquire new skills. Responsibilities:

• Solve mechanical related issues on products.
• Translate processes into work instructions using clear and concise English.
• Product packaging design or modification for new products or continuous improvement.
• Mechanical part design or modification for continuous improvement.
• Jig and fixture design and implementation for continuous improvement
• Instil LEAN into manufacturing processes.
• Part number setup, product Bill of Material (BOM) setup or modification for new or existing products.
• Lead cross functional team in sourcing and qualifying mechanical parts for assurance of supply.
• Lead cross functional team in completing cost savings initiatives.
• Production manufacturing capacity improvement.

Job Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge in CAD tools e.g. Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc and Geometric Dimensioning and
• Ability to interpret and create 2D and 3D drawings .
• Very good communication skills
• Fast learner and attention to details.
• Ability to work independently and as a team

Knowledge of the following will be advantageous

• Knowledge of FMEA and LEAN.
• Oracle system knowledge
• DFM
