JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • The Procurement Senior Executive is assisting the Manager for establishing, contributing to and continually improving an efficient and cost effective standard process of procurement of goods and services, with focus in the technical procurement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing short and long term procurement strategies designed to reduce costs and improve quality and service.
  • Assist in establishing a material management and control system including verification of material and equipment received.
  • Ensure transparent and competitive procurements are conducted and properly documented as required, organizes and leads the bid solicitation process including drafting and issuing RFQ, RFP, RFI, Tenders, developing bid evaluation criteria and guiding related stakeholders on processes involved;
  • Assist in calling for and overseeing selection committees to review applications and select vendors s/he ensures the integrity of the competitive process, facilitates bidder debriefings where necessary, and exercises appropriate judgment and tact while ensuring to protect confidential information
  • Assist in Managing vendor contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure completeness of deliverables outlined in the contract.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required
  • Assisting in provide the annual budget and expenditure for maintenance activities in line with company’s business plans and analyze and recommend cost improvement for future business plan and strategy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Studies / Administration/Management, Economics or equivalent
  • Excellent experienced in Purchasing / Inventory / Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system and it’s standard
  • Excellent working knowledge in Microsoft Office ( Words, Excel, etc ) and data base
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, high integrity, meticulous & resourceful

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
