Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Procurement methods and procedures of a large scale centralized purchasing function including buying, quality assurance, contract administration and contract law.
• Commodity markets and price trends.
• Various grades, qualities, and varieties of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Office management principles, practices, and procedures.
• Good understanding of the company’s business goals and objectives.
• Facilitate and practice security and confidentiality of information.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and accurate.
• Good knowledge of PC software applications.
• Good verbal and written communications skills, preferably fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Good creative problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Previous exposure to commodity sourcing, with advanced experience of current trends in specific commodity industries.
• Good persuasion skills (across departments).
• Good negotiation skills (Internal/External).
• To perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
