About the Open Position

GHSP, a global technology organization, is currently looking for a Production Manager to join our operations team in Grand Haven, Michigan as we prepare for significant growth.

The purpose of this position is to lead a team and the work processes that will ensure the achievement of plant key measures. Utilizes advanced management and lean manufacturing philosophies and techniques; leads, manages, and provides technical expertise/work direction to Manufacturing Team Leaders.

Leads Manufacturing Production Team Leaders.
Utilizes participative management and lean manufacturing philosophies and techniques; leads, manages, and provides technical expertise and work direction to manufacturing team leaders. Uses lean production system and other GHSP specific processes to ensure efficient operations with production of high quality products.

Maintains appropriate level of production staffing.
Maintains appropriate level of staff support necessary to meet business goals and objectives. Monitors productivity of groups and individuals and recommends changes where desirable.

Manages financial results in assigned area.
Monitors and controls material, labor, and overhead costs; develops, reviews, and maintains budgets and expenses for department.

Requirements:
