With a growing project portfolio in Malaysia, they are looking to expand the team with a Project Engineer (building construction).

about the job
You will primary support the Assistant Project Manager/ Project Manager in overseeing and reporting the project progress and all on-site activities. The process will includes:

• To ensure that the project is delivered efficiently as required as the client's expectations in terms of budgets, policies, quality, safety, and time constraints.
• To review and check discrepancies on drawings and ensure all relevant calculations are aligned with the required regulations.
• To liaise closely with relevant stakeholders for successful delivery of the project including client, sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants etc.

about the manager/team
You will be reporting to the Project Manager who comes with many years of experience with the organisation. You will work with a team of experienced project engineers and receive good exposure on building construction.

Skills and experience required

To be successful in your role, you will come with a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and minimum 2 years of experience site based experience, preferably in building construction. You must be comfortable to open to long-hours work.
