• Basic Salary: RM3,000-RM5,000 + Monthly Allowances + Performance Bonuses

Our client, a reputable Solar Power and Mechanical Engineering Company that has been established for more than 20 years and is growing rapidly over the years due to the market demand. They are currently expanding their project team and hence, searching for more Project Engineers to join their big family. As part of the company, you will be working closely with the project team to manage project sites and monitor work progression.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager to prepare detailed design, review of electrical drawings and relevant design calculations, work method statements and procedures
• Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning and performance monitoring
• Perform solar Plant maintenance, tracking and management
• Execute solar photovoltaic system design planning, and coordinate process operation
• Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for solar installation work
• Solar plant operation and maintenance scheduling, execution and monitoring
• Understand and interpret interconnection drawings, single line diagrams, construction sets and as-built drawings for all solar projects
• Work with utility companies on project coordination
• Work with Internal Operations team throughout project development and implementation
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors throughout project development and implementation
• Monitor project development, installation progress, punch-outs etc.
• Create plans for solar energy system development, monitoring and evaluation activities

Additional Information/ Requirements:

• Possess Min Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Project Management or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience working in the solar PV industry, designing solar arrays and/or plant O&M
• Possess Grid Connected Photovoltaic Designer certificate will be an added advantage
• Have experience in reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents
• Possess good oral and written communication skills
