Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Associate or Experienced) (Level 2 or Level 3) to join the Boeing South Carolina Engineering Design Center based in North Charleston, South Carolina!
The successful candidate will help support several workforce development initiatives that directly engage and support our BSC engineering team. These programs are critical to BSC teammates development and include but are not limited to: Early Career Experiences (ECE), Employee Growth and Development Enhancement (EDGE), Engineering Central, College Internships and High School Development Program.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.
Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.
Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.
Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to collaborators.
Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement standard methodologies that support project decision makers.
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to partners.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
1+ years of experience in Project Management
1+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
3+ years of experience in developing and implementing process improvements
3+ years of experience with work movement process
3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years of related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Experienced (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $73,950-$100,050
