Description

Core testing activities:

• Supporting QA activities with assigned scrum team
• Attending scrum team ceremonies (DSUs, grooming sessions, retros, etc.)
• Testing activities (test case creation and execution, coordinating end to end testing, etc.)
• Participating in meetings for defect triage, user story reviews, etc.
• KT sharing and training newly acquired QA resources
• Submitting ServiceNow requests for team
• Mitigating risk impacting quality of testing
• Following IT QA standards
• Collaborating with and collecting data from cross-impacted app teams
• Reviewing scrum board in DSUs (includes epics, features, user stories, test plans, test scripts, bugs, etc.)

Engages in broader activities to support Quality of testing efforts:

• Participates in executing the tasks and activities of the broader testing team.
• Collaborates with the BSA and Development teams in the analysis and review of requirements.
• Actively participates in the review of design specifications.
• Creates test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to requirements, workflow, and system design documents to ensure proper coverage.
• Conducts testing using HNB manual and automated test processes.
• Executes test scripts, communicates and records results.
• May run database queries in order to supply data validation within test scripts.
• Updates test cases based upon approved change requests.
• Works with BSAs and Development teams on defect analysis and triage.
• Works with colleagues and project managers to meet established target dates and completion of activities and deliverables under changing conditions.
• Provides Project Test Lead with input for weekly status reports.
• Collaborates with Project Test Lead on the creation and review of the Test Strategy.
• Collaborates with the scrum team members providing story points in support of completing User Story efforts.
• Complies with Huntington’s standards of the SDLC, and adheres to testing strategies and procedures within the industry standard.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or High School diploma with the equivalent of 4 years of QA Testing experience
• A minimum of 1 year of QA Testing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of test data requirements, planning and conditioning test data for complex test scenarios
• Test tool experience
  • Test Management (Azure DevOps/Quality Center)
  • Automation (at the very least, basic testing activities supplemented by automation)
  • Defect Management and Tracking
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Previous analytical experience (analyzing problems and analyzing results)

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
