The Assist QAQC Manager will oversee the QAQC department's and staff's activity, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the civil engineering project.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Trains quality assurance staff.
Arranges the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Helps to handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for implementation of QMS requirements and ensuring compliance.
2. Control and distribute all the company's quality documentation.
3. Assist to perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company's management.
4. Verify quality requirements are specified to vendors and sub-contractor documentation submittals.
5. Support the Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, and Chief Engineer on day-to-day QAQC matters and preparation of QAQC reports.
6. Assist to manage the submission of QAQC documentation for consultant approval, including method statement, material submission for approval, shop drawing, and other related documents.
7. Maintain QAQC records and ensure all project documentation is kept in compliance with the QMS.
8. Develop forms/checklists/flowcharts for QAQC activities.
9. Conduct audits in compliance with the QMS and contribute to system improvement.
10. Conduct Kick off meetings / QA training and activities with subcontractors.
11. Plan and organize mockup and trade demonstration to ensure compliance with approved method statement and inspection test plan.
12. Manage test schedule for RE/RTO witnessing and ensure compliance to project test requirements.
13. Conduct inspections of in-progress / completed works and ensure Works are in accordance to project specifications and approved Shop drawings.
14. Raise report of any non-conformance and carry out root cause analysis.
15. Manage and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvement.
16. Manage subcontractors to clear defects and achieve the required CONQUAS target.
17. Performs other duties as assigned by PM, DPM, Chief Engineer, and QAQC manager.
18. Attend client quality management meetings.
19. Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
20. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site construction manager.
21. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site procurement manager.
22. Coordinate all quality-related correspondence with the client representatives.
23. Control all achieved documentation upon the completion of the project.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a field related to civil work.
Three to five years of experience in a related field, especially in road construction, is required with supervisory experience a plus.
