Total Care Services, Inc. has been serving residents of the District of Columbia since 2003. Our DC (District of Columbia) team services and support people with disabilities of all ages. The Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist to ensure that their operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. The QA Compliance Specialist is responsible for completing audits and record filings ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and regulations, developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, identifying and addressing quality issues, verifying the professional licenses and certifications of staff members company wide, ensuring the upkeep of the company’s accreditation, entering information into auditing logs, and review information of potential new employees to make sure all required licenses and credentials are current before hiring.

Compensation Package:

Yearly Salary: $50,000 - $55,000

We are Searching for a Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist Who is:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance or business administration.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Two to five years prior experience in file management systems and auditing.
  • Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills

What You Do:

  • Monitors and keeps current staff credentials and licenses.
  • Audits and maintains personnel files for all programs.
  • Maintains auditing system for credentialing documents.
  • Communicates with employees to collect credentialing documents.
  • Proposes measures to correct and/or improve internal auditing processes.
  • Advises staff on renewal procedures and resources.
  • Keeps records of licenses, credentials and other general information.
  • Communicates with Quality Assurance Director regularly.
  • Submits completed Quality Assurance Critical Review Checklist to the Quality Assurance Director on weekly basis.

Work Schedule: 8:30am- 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Work Environment: This position is at our corporate office.
