Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Flex Skudai.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineering role is responsible for the improvements on the systems, supervising correct implementation in order to meet customer’s requirements. Additionally, responsible facilitate and participate in continuous improvement efforts utilizing Quality tools.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage and handle all customer feedback on product quality.
- Facilitate and participate in continuous improvement efforts utilizing Quality tools.
- Lead, facilitate and participate in the Corrective Action process (8D), Material Review Boards (MRB), First Article process and Line Certification /Audit process.
- Develop, revise and maintain Quality documentation as necessary.
- Generate quality reports for internal and customer (Yield report, Product Verification report)
- Support internal, external certification agencies and customer quality audits.
- Provide training on quality related topic in the organization.
- Establish and maintain quality data such as 8D, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC and other quality related data and records.
- Provide timely and effective feedback for expression of ideas, issues and problem to superior.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in any Engineering or Science discipline
- Minimum 5 years of working experienced in Box Build assemblies & Test.
- Strong oral / written and interpersonal communication
- Knowledge and trained in quality system of ISO and other engineering improvement tools (8D, Process FMEA, Poka-Yoke, SPC)
- Excellent computer skill in MS office.
