Qualification

• Diploma and above in Engineering or equivalent related studies;
• Minimum 1-2 year working experience in manufacturing or related field;

Responsibility

• To conduct incoming inspection (First piece buy off) by:

1. Utilizing CMM, QV/QS, Profile projector, and the other tools necessary based on customer requirement;
2. Developing automated measurement program for multiple measurement systems-CMM;
3. Enter and manage metrology data using tools (must be familiar with standard tools for SPC, CpK, SixSigma);

• To support and provide technical assistance for quality control in metrology lab and conformance to international standard;
• To test, calibrate, maintain and repair precision equipment and scientific instruments, and also to support Project Engineer for production and Quality Control;

Function

• Plan and perform work to calibrate, troubleshoot, and/or repair a variety measurement and test equipment, using knowledge of mechanical & physical properties;
• Required judging the quality and operation of Measurement & Test equipment and include recommending:

1. Procurement of calibration standards and ancillary equipment;
2. Calibration periods;
3. Disposing of outdated equipment;

• Required to perform lab administrative practices and studies to assist in training lower level technician (general worker) and to perform miscellaneous duties as required;

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM1,500.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
