Job Description
  • Set and deliver on clear objectives, which are consistent with the Company’s goals, for each member of the territory team and work together to satisfy consumer and shopper needs.
  • Manage monthly meeting in which the team’s mission and objectives are reviewed to ensure progress towards and alignment with overall company goals, during which specific issues and KPI performance are discussed and action plans refined.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to ensure adequate training for team members. Evaluate performance through training contact and advise on career paths. Provide opportunities for development, acting as a role model and reinforcing desired behaviors.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the values, strategies and policies of the customer to influence all decision points within the customer and anticipate future direction and needs in order to set long-term objectives for the team.
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Marketing to translate category plans by segment into customer business plans that deliver team objectives, focusing investment on demand-generating activities.
  • Ensure consistent and quality coverage, calls and in-store execution by Sales Team within the territory.
  • Forecast and manage costs of inventory to minimise overstocking and potential write offs, through effective trade activities. Manage sales forecasts based on trade promotion and product launch, and ensure healthy stock level.
  • Establish new business opportunities (e.g. export).
  • Develop and execute Trade Marketing and Distribution plan to meet brand, distribution, volume and profit objectives for each brand category through effective allocation of resources.
  • Minimise credit risk exposure by ensuring on time collections and credit applications, as per approved credit terms and limits.
  • Actively participate in supply-chain-related projects with the aim of pursuing efficiency and optimisation in operations and distributions.
  • To perform any other task or assignment as directed by the management from time to time.

Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree holder of any business discipline
  • More than 8 years working experience in managerial level in sales operations / field work
