The Enterprise Sales Regional Vice President will drive our mandate to develop and build a Premier Sales Organization. As one of the key senior leaders in the Enterprise Sales organization, the successful candidate will embody our Leadership Model focusing on building a high-performing sales organization focused on market and customer wallet share growth, operational efficiency, employee relations, community engagement, competition, and customer ownership.
From fostering innovation and working cross-functionally, to driving performance and delivering results through flawless execution, customer contact and community involvement, this position is responsible for protecting and growing a revenue base of about $225m. The RVP is responsible for providing a clear and compelling vision and focused leadership to a regional workforce of approximately 40-50 Sales Professionals and 8-10 Sales Leaders. This senior leader must drive positive change to create a customer-focused, motivated, engaged, and competitive workforce through recruiting, developing and nurturing top talent.
This leader will also need to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Client Support, Service Delivery, Field Operations, Finance, HR and other key stakeholders as well as other channels to achieve the sales and revenue goals for this segment.

POSITION SUCCESS CRITERIA:
Operations/Sales:
- Ability to develop overall sales strategies for the region and build out tactical execution plans
- Comprehensive understanding of the business
- Directly responsible for revenue management in assigned markets through new customer acquisition, cross-sell, upsell and renewal and retention of existing customers
- Ability to clearly set, communicate and deliver against goals that drive results
- Ability to drive a sales and customer-focused culture
- Collaborate with regional and corporate staff, while providing feedback to improve processes and customer experience
Competitive Marketplace:
- Thorough understanding of the local competition (products, promotions, business/sales & marketing strategies) via media outlets, community involvement & channel input.
- Leads and engages in marketing initiatives to promote the Company’s products and services (i.e., Frontier Take the Lead and marketing events)
Leadership:
- Has well-thought-out strategies and a compelling vision for how to leverage organizational strengths while improving on areas of opportunity
- Holds team accountable to achieve results through coaching and performance management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce
- Consistently provides feedback and direction to staff to ensure employee development, engagement and business knowledge
- Leverages all employee communication vehicles and opportunities (weekly/monthly/quarterly/one-on-ones) to obtain feedback on departmental goals, gains input on action plans and modifies direction as necessary to engage and to hold employees accountable to overall business results
- Utilizes and leverages existing employee recognition programs to reward key contributions and positively impact employee morale
- Partners with Human Resources to ensure firm, fair and consistent application of HR practices/policies and labor agreements
- Ensures employee advocacy and a positive work environment by listening and responding to employee feedback, issues and concerns in a timely manner
Community Relations:
- Positively represents the Company and communicates Company vision and direction through active engagement and involvement in the community
- Leverages community relationships to retain business & identify future business opportunities
- Ensures continuous education and awareness of community issues/developments via involvement in local market community boards and civic organizations
- Cultivates and strengthens relationships with key politicians and local community decisions makers via community involvement
- Serve as the point person of Frontier to the community, local media and press
Customer Ownership:
- Supports employees that directly interface with the customers by removing barriers, soliciting process improvement suggestions and streamlining the work processes
- Holds employees and other departments accountable for meeting customer needs/demands
- Responds to issues identified on Customer Surveys, works with teams to ensure action plans are developed, and provides follow-up on customer issue resolution specified in action plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) an asset
- 10+ years of new business development experience in telecommunications
- Proven track record of growing an established business, delivering results, and driving it to the next level
- Ability to generate leads through networking
- 10+ years’ experience leading a sales team of at least 50 people within a comparable commercial/sales R/G VP role
- A driven and passionate individual that can grow an essential part of Frontier’s business
- Proven experience in growing new clients and opening new revenue channels
- Experience of - and ability to - operate strategically at a senior level within an assigned region
- Proven track record of growing an established business, delivering results, and driving it to the next level
- Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with sales teams
- Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development
- Highly organized, able to delegate and empower others
- Strong ability to problem solve, with a commercial and creative approach
- Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be prepared to get hands-on in delivery as and when needed
- Able to work at pace in an ever-changing environment
- Budget / P&L Management experience, including strong numerical ability and forecasting skills
- Candidate must have a valid State driver’s license and clean driving record.
