Description:

The purpose of this position is to perform basic clinical research duties related to the Principal Investigator's (PI)multiple research projects. This individual will carry out experiments and technical procedures as directed by the PI involving consenting and contacting patients, managing data, and making direct experimental measurements. This individual may interact with several individuals

including Patients, Athletes, Research Specialists, Research Associates, Graduate Students and Research Resident.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Carry out experiments and technical procedures as directed by Principle Investigator (PI) involving consenting and contacting patients, managing data, and making direct experimental measures.
    • Perform experimental techniques under PI supervision to complete the project. May set up experimental design and lab technique. May assist with compiling information for use in scientific manuscripts and presentations.
    • Perform in depth analysis of experimental results. Perform literature searches on computer and retrieve literature from library. Assist in modifying specific protocols and methodology.
    • Monitor the inventory of essential research supplies and may assist in ordering additional supplies when required. Maintain orderly record of purchases.
    • Ensure work environment complies with safety regulations.
    • Implement experiments and perform research techniques specific to project in accordance with direction from individual

    Position Requirements:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Less than one year of previous job-related experience
    • Specify Degree(s): Biology

    Preferred:

    • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

    Computer Skills:

    Required:

    • Basic Keyboarding Skills
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
