The Sales Development Representative is a meaningful role in the sales organization that focuses on providing an outstanding experience to prospective customers. The Sales Development Representative is often the first person a prospect encounters when contacting Amplify. We strive to demonstrate to the prospect that Amplify will be a reliable partner by being very responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful in getting them the information they need. This role will have the opportunity to be a strategic contributor and collaborate with partners across Amplify to provide revenue-generating opportunities to the Sales Team.
The role will report to Sr Manager, Sales Development, and work closely with key partners across the organization, including sales, product, and marketing.
Responsibilities of the Sales Development Representative:

Respond to inbound leads within target response time through high-velocity calling and email strategies

Qualify leads with rigorous criteria to determine if our programs and services are a match for their needs, document conversation details, and arrange appointments for the territory owner to advance the sale.

Consult with prospects to identify their needs and align them with solutions and services.

Provide valuable resources to prospects to help them in their search.

Acquire expertise in K-12 purchasing cycles as they relate to school districts, Title I, and other Federal funding guidelines.

Identify ways to meet the needs of all key partners (teachers, administrators, and students).

Prioritize leads and accurately maintain activity in relevant CRM systems

Participate in weekly & bi-weekly meetings and share relevant market feedback
Basic Requirements of the Sales Development Representative:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-
Proven record of managing a high volume of leads with a strong outbound lead management cadence
-
Previous experience in the education market
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to travel to onsite meetings 5%
Preferred Requirements of the Sales Development Representative:
-
1-3 years of inside sales or sales development experience
-
Ability to advance knowledge through self-study, training, and experience
-
Knowledge of administration practices, including the use of CRM systems

Experience collaborating effectively with teams

Strong creative-thinking and analytical skills

Highly responsive to inbound inquiries, goal-oriented, persistent, diligent, and reliable, with strong probing skills

What we offer: Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000. This role is eligible for commission-based pay.
