We are looking to hire an School Age Care Team Leader/Administrator in Gloucester who brings creativity, positive energy, role modeling for youth in our program ages 5-13. The primary functions include planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities which meet the individual needs of the children served in the program. This includes planning and participating in off-site field trips. 35 hours per week during school year and 40 during summer break

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Plan and implement a daily program of developmentally appropriate activities which meet the individual needs of the children enrolled in the program ages 5-13
• Implement daily lesson plans that follow the program goals of the School Age Care program
• Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
• Consult with administrators, social workers, behaviorists and others regarding planning for students with social/emotional needs as well as coordination of other program activities
• Participate in planning and attending off-site field trips
• Identify new activities to keep students engaged and always learning
• Display a positive and supportive attitude toward students and peers

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

• Must be 18 years or older
• A Bachelors or Associate degree and have three (3) months experience working with school age children; or have a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of experience working in a supervised setting supporting positive youth development
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role
• Must comply with all state and federal requirements
• Must complete and satisfy background check protocols
