Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is currently hiring for security officer position at Round One Entertainment, 4220 Baldwin Rd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326

• Located on property at the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets

General Job Duties: (include, but are not limited)

- Adhere to and comply with all (PSC) company policies, site post orders and all special instructions they may be issued from the client.

- Adhere to and comply with proper usage of the teams “chain of command”.

- Maintain a professional demeanor, be respectful and act appropriately at all times while working.

- Provide attentive and courteous support and assistance as may be needed to all patrons, tenants, vendors, site staff and fellow security team members.

- Provide a visual deterrence by maintaining a high visibility at all times.- Carefully observe all aspects and immediately report any issues noted within their assigned duty area of operations.

- When required, write incident reports of incidents that occur inside the venue.

- Ensure the sites “Security Expectations” are adhered to at all times.

- Oversee, Assist, site access of vendors and guests as needed or advised.

- Act as a Deterrence against Criminal activity.

- Perform all post duties that may be assigned as required.

- Contact a designated Superior or Shift Supervisor for all incidents, special situations or if information outside of their training & knowledge is needed.

- Contact law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.

- Support and assist site management as needed.

- Be Able to work Evenings, Nights and Weekends as all shifts start after 3pm.

Skills Required:

- Possess superior interpersonal skills and be willing and able to speak confidently and professionally in English with people or groups of people while representing the company and the client.

- Must be able to operate common communications equipment such as 2-way radios and cell phones.

- Be able to effectively and clearly document notes or reports.

- Be able to stand and/or be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Job Requirements:

- Valid state Driver’s License or State ID.

- At least 18 years of age.

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

- Professional appearance.

- Be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

- Flexibility to work various hours and days.

- Remain free from illegal drug use.

- Be able to obtain and/or maintain any Federal, State, Local, Company or Client required permits, licenses* or certificates for Security officers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
