We are looking for a Senior Art Director to take the lead in thinking up content and campaign assets for one of our most prestigious clients in APAC. This role focuses on campaign asset creation with an emphasis on music, which means that we are looking for culturally relevant and dynamic work. The position is all about harmonizing speed, style and scale to produce loads of good-looking assets at a steady pace.

To execute that vision, you will conceive and develop high-profile brand marketing campaigns while guiding and supporting team members, including junior art directors, production designers, editors, and motion designers. You're comfortable generating ideas and bringing them to life, helping execute ideas with lasting impact on the brand and helping lead the process from conception to approval and into production. You will oversee the work and collaborate with creative leads and producers to help manage teams and ensure work quality. Role & Responsibilities

  • You'll create proposals and mockups to kickstart the design for short content, features and new campaigns.
  • Your primary responsibilities will be to bring ideas and execution to the table. You'll be tasked with coming up with ideas that can be executed weekly, with uncomplicated variations - whilst staying fresh and exciting in a quick turnaround environment.
  • You'll partner with motion designers that will conceptualize and execute content ideas.
  • Working for one of the world's most beloved brands, you'll make sure designs are fantastic and in line with expectations.
  • You'll look after the art direction's execution and help improve the work by offering new angles, inspiration, best practices, and practical solutions.
  • You'll help translate creative/client briefs into thorough design briefs.
  • Pixel perfectness is essential, so you'll safeguard quality at all times.
  • You work as part of a dedicated global team of designers and art directors that produce world-class work across APAC.
  • Working alongside the creative lead and the team, you'll ensure our designs and processes align with the client's objectives and expectations.

Requirements

  • You're a technically skilled designer with a minimum of 10 years of high-level experience as a senior/lead designer and art director crafting & ideating digital ads and campaigns.
  • Your portfolio showcases that your Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma skills are super slick.
  • You'll need to have strong English communication skills for working with clients and colleagues around the world.
  • You have experience with all stages of the design process, from conceptualizing styles to finalizing layouts and rolling out designs across markets and formats.
  • Creating balanced and beautiful layouts is second nature to you.
  • You're comfortable creating design toolkits and motion kits
  • You also know about templating and process optimizations.
  • After Effects basics are a bonus.
  • You can take charge of tasks independently and take on bigger jobs with little supervision.
  • With an understanding of fundamentals such as typography, visual design, and digital campaigns, you can get teams to improve the work on an aesthetic and functional level.
  • You know how to sell designs to colleagues and clients alike and ideally have some experience doing client presentations.
