The Role
As a Senior Editor you’ll be actively engaged with the creative team, AV team and have confidence in handling challenging assignments to ensure that the highest standards are met while maintaining the best production values
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet with clients to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created
- Work closely with internal team e.g. AV, Creative, Brand & etc. to ensure deliverables within timeline & brief
- Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct forma
t•Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications
- File compressions for all deliverables (Digital, TV, DVD, etc)
- Excellent understanding of technical limitations of different file formats and knowledge of standard requirements for different platforms
- Create job folders in Asset Management system and ensure that all media is logged and archived according to studio protocols
- Track versioning of edits for continuity and historical reference
- Create Agency and Client reels
- Find stock footage and music and document final use for licensing purposes
- Maintain completionreports for all jobs within Filemaker database
- Oversee and mentor junior team members to build a strong & success teamg and ads developments
Min. of 3 years in editing or production environment or similar industry- Familiar with motion graphics and effect
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut Pro X)
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adaptive to rapidly changing schedules•Strong knowledge of related technology and systems
- A team player, dynamic, resilient, solution driven& positive
- Excellent interpersonal skills and creative sensibility
- Knowledge of Final Cut and After Effects programs, Filemaker
- Candidate must be open to travel as needed
