Senior Engineer - Quality Control
Job description
JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for coordinating suppliers and verifying quality standards in accordance with the requirements of organization.
- Ensures incoming parts from supply chain companies meet the quality standards and systems required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the key contact window to supplier for organization in term of quality. Manage the supply chain, suggest structural quality and process improvements, and collaborate with other engineers in a team environment.
- Performing regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, as well as asist in the development and implementation of supplier management programs.
- Generate Supplier Corrective Actions (SCA) as required and follow up with Suppliers for completion/closure.
- Conduct in-depth review of supplier’s 8D report and follow-up on the implementation of supplier corrective action plans
- Participate in the assessment and selection of Suppliers of key commodities.
- Develop and maintain inspection procedures for Receiving Inspection.
- Ad-hoc related duties as assigned.
POSITION/JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualification
:
Degree in Engineering (Chemical, E&E, Mechanical, Material,) or Science (Physics, Chemical, Material).
Skills & knowledge Required
:
- Proficiency in English Language.
- Good reading and writing skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have knowledge and experience in preparing report.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to details.
Experience
:
3-5years experience.
