Job Title: Senior IT Security Training Specialist

Work Location

· Washington, DC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5+ years of direct demonstrated experience in developing and organizing internal and/or external security communications, managing cybersecurity awareness campaigns, and supporting enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.

· 5+ years of direct demonstrated experience as a professional writer, able to research and prepare high-quality, clearly written awareness and training materials free of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.

· Experience with developing and delivering well-thought-out strategies and plans for security awareness and training activities.

· Direct demonstrated experience delivering cybersecurity training courses.

· Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats and countermeasures.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Strong organizational and project management skills.

· Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and organize internal and external security communications.

· Manage cybersecurity awareness campaigns.

· Support enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.

· Research and prepare high-quality, clearly written awareness and training materials.

· Develop and deliver well-thought-out strategies and plans for security awareness and training activities.

· Deliver cybersecurity training courses.
