Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of recruiting professionals in supporting the growing talent needs of the organisation and function as the primary point of contact for the Senior Leadership.
  • Lead a portfolio of implementation and optimisation projects (e.g. technology, employer brand), including developing detailed project plans, influencing key HR and business leaders, managing and prioritising the work of project team members, identifying risks/issues and establishing contingency plans, developing and executing comprehensive change communication strategies.
  • Develop, plan & execute talent acquisition strategies to build sustainable talent pipelines which will support the Company's growth.
  • Identify pool of future potential talent and work proactively in building the talent pool through consistent engagement with all potential future talent.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport and communication with stakeholders, especially hiring managers to ensure good understanding of requirements & efficiency of recruitment.
  • Regularly analyse recruitment data & reports to identify & improve processes in efficiency, quality and cost aspects.
  • Utilize social media e.g. Linkedin, Instagram etc. and other trending platforms to build Hartalega as an Employer of Choice and eventually hiring talent with the right fit for the Company.
  • Establish good working relationship with 3rd party recruitment agencies and/or staffing firms to ensure the end results are delivered as desired.
  • Establish good rapport with selected universities, colleges, polytechnics, vocational schools etc. to build consistent and sustainable talent pipelines
  • Prepare and account for the annual recruitment budget based on agreed activities and Company guidelines.
  • Consistently embrace recruitment best practices in the market e.g. exploring new recruitment systems, tools, psychometric tests e.g. personality tests, IQ tests etc. to ensure the right talent are hired.
  • Consistently promote Graduate Readiness Internship Program (GRIP) for long term recruitment plan.
  • Provide training, guidance and coaching to subordinates (if any).

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in any field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, out of which 3-5 years of managerial working experience.
  • Recruitment experience in manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
  • Some regional recruitment experience will be an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to travel.
