Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Port, terminal and Logistics operation Overall responsible with regards to safety, operation, and document compliance aspects for discharging of sludge oil from ships in terminal. Safety Active member of desludging team. Monitor all and observe work safety practices in port Observe safety procedure in ship and port. Liaise with port HSE on safety issue Attend, prepare any incident/accident report if there is one. Observe pollution prevention Operation Assist in the connection of hose and portable pumps from desludging vessel to road tanker. Monitor hourly rate of discharging of sludge Plan and executive task which able to speed up desludging operation. Take consideration of safety parameters Plan and organize support staff on work allocation for desluge vessel according to schedule Monitor vessel ETB schedule Inventory of all equipment after completion of operation. Eg. Pumps, hoses, coupling etc Check condition of equipment prior commencing, during and after operation Documents Prepare K1/K3 Customs clearance before road tanker proceed into port. Issue desloping/desludging cert to vessel upon completion of operation Others Plan and conduct PMS on port equipment on daily, weekly and monthly basis Raise requisition and/or repairs to HOD on port equipment Strive for operation excellence. Job Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
