• To take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH management system in the project.
• To take overall responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health as well as providing safe and healthy workplaces and activities at projects.
• To ensure that the QESH management system conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the project.
• To promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the project.
• To promote customer focus and improvement in the project.
• To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
• To determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
• To report on performance of QESH-MS including QESH performance in the department to the top management.
• To take on the ultimate responsibility of QESH, environmental, safety and health management for the project.
• To fulfill the company’s contractual obligation to the clients.
• To plan, manage, monitor and control project operations.
• To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites.
• To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices.
• To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
• To review and monitor site work productivity and arrange for resources as required.
• To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans. Results of such to conform to specifications and drawings.
• To ensure that applicable environmental, safety and health legislative, regulatory and related requirements are fulfilled at project site.
• To ensure that site personnel, workers and subcontractors are implementing environmental, safety and health practices at their workplace.
• To monitor, control and improve QESH performance at project site.
• To oversee the projects progress as required.
• To chair site safety, health and environmental committee meetings as required.
• To report project progress to top management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related fields.
• Min 5 years working experience and experience in the construction of high rise and etc.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
• Familiar with legal requirements and knowledgeable in environmental, safety and health practices.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated person and able to work independently.
• Able to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.
• Able to work under pressure and long hours.
• Computer literate.
• Project Site : Sungai Buloh, Setapak, Sentul, Putrajaya

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
