This role will be based in Tanjung Pelepas Port (TPP), Johor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the logistics operations to achieve the operations key performance metrics and the required service standards.
- Implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards for the respective Opera-tions. Accountable to ensure a safe work environment and continuous improvement in HSE processes.
- Deliver KPI targets for Operations: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity.
- Develop and Implement continuous Improvement Plan for the Operations. Champion a culture of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement across the Operations.
- Defines requirements for operation and ensures the implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements & customer expectations. Effectively balance capacity with customer-demand and workload.
- Responsible for Customer satisfaction. Works collaboratively with client and internal stakeholders to assure operational effectiveness and exceed customer expectations.
We are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing day to day warehousing Operations, implementing continuous improvement projects to improve the Safety/ Operations flow/productivity.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience in the logistics field.
- Experience with Automotive, Lifestyle, FMCG & Electronics vertical warehousing Operations.
- Good working knowledge of the following operations areas – domestic distribution, warehouse management, inventory planning, transportation management and logistics execution systems. Proven transportation /logistics / supply chain man-agement knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, good at leading and developing people and change, a strong and good leader, developing processes and people, Takes ownership.
- Work Location – Johor Bahru, Tanjung Pelepas Port
- Support 24/7 Operations on rotational basis (i.e. 8.30am-8.30pm or 8.30pm - 8.30am);
- Monday to Sunday (Rotational work days amongst the team)
