MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Travel domestically and internationally to customer facilities to perform preventative maintenance,

calibration, and basic repairs on autoclaves and ovens. Up to 80% travel is expected.

 Drive and maintain a company-owned service van when required to perform local service work.

 Prepare service reports by analyzing and summarizing service work to ensure customer satisfaction.

 Track worked hours accurately to assure proper billing to customer.

 Represent ASC by acting professionally, arriving to locations on time, and reliably communicating

activities to the customer.

 Promote ASC’s products and services in interactions with customers

 Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all written and verbal procedures,

rules, and regulations from ASC, along with customer requirements.

 Assist ASC’s Facilities Department in equipment repairs and maintenance when not working in the field

 Perform all other duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports directly to Service Manager. Works closely with other service technicians in the service department.

Occasionally performs work for the Facilities Manager and works with the Facilities Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

 At least 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, HVAC, or related field

 Proficiency with basic mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatic concepts related to machine tools.

 Good verbal and written communication

 Valid California driver’s license and a good driving record

 Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident due to federal contract requirements

Preferred Qualifications

 Basic welding skills, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.

 Associate degree from a 2-year college, technical school, or equivalent apprenticeship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
