Job description
- Collect and submit periodic works report (progress, update, etc) as required by client/consultant or NCSB.
- Monitor the progress of planned works on site.
- Coordination and update material & works delivery on its quality, quantity, compliance.
- To carry out and monitoring of all construction/installation works as per specs + quality.
- Supervise and control subcontractors daily work activities, and ensuring material and equipment, personnel and tools are available to perform the work and safety.
- To carry out all materials/product receiving handling, storage inventory record in accordance with the SOP.
- Check and inspect works in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans and follow through the completion + record of all defects.
- Ensure all necessary inspection and testing are performed and verified/passed before proceeding to the next stage of construction or installation work.
- Maintain site diary to record daily activities at site.
- To supervise and monitor the usage of plant & machineries to ensure certified fit for use.
- Attend subcontractors, consultant and client coordination meetings, safety meetings and technical meetings as and when required.
- Review sub-contractors work and safety methodologies.
- Understand and follow the approved works + safety risk mitigation plan.
- Resolving technical and/or constructional problems.
- Prepare, maintain and update progress report (fortnightly, monthly, weekly, etc).
- Attend all project/site meetings and highlight any matters requiring the attention of client/consultant.
- Verify subcontractors/suppliers’ interim payment claim.
- Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractor/supplier for all pre-requisite documents submissions.
- Assist in the overall planning, scheduling & monitoring of site progress.
- Check all construction drawings and identify insufficient information/discrepancies and issue Request for Information (RFI).
- Check subcontractors/suppliers’ submissions to ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings and PQP requirements.
- Understand and embrace Company Vision, Mission and Values.
- Provide support to the Quality Management System (QMS) for its effectiveness.
- Any other duties assigned by Project Manager / Construction Manager from time to time.
