Job description

• Source and develop new supplier resource and new solutions, according to project need.
• Participate RFQ and complete before deadline.
• Quotation analysis in order to get reliable and competitive price from supplier.
• Negotiation on price bidding for item sourcing.
• Cost control and cost optimization.
• Supplier performance evaluation.
• Liaise with planning and logistics on materials purchase until delivery.
• Coordinate delivery schedules between vendors and store department.
• Review and resolves receiving note and goods discrepancies.
• Coordination with supplier and quality department for quality issues and corrective action at supplier end accordingly
• Coordination for design changes (Engineering change) implementation
• Material procurement & planning considering sales & production plan along with the coverage of material and inventories in hand.
• Giving forecast to the suppliers in accordance with the rolling plan.
• Follow up with the accounts for timely payment to the suppliers.
• Inventory control & management in order to avoid ageing of material.
• New Vendor development for alternate sourcing to reduce the raw material cost.
• To obtain the fair price for the material by comparing the quotes and negotiations.
• Minimization of the quality problems, new improvements & co-ordination for the free replacement with the supplier.
• Coordinating with suppliers and getting the quotations of exact materials required.

• At least 3 years experience in a related field.
• Diploma/Bachelors Degree or any other equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,800.00 per month
