Jonathan's Landing Golf Club is looking to hire a Part-Time Starter - Golf to join their dynamic team!

Ideal candidates must be friendly and have a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for directing golf play, and maintaining an orderly flow of golfers on to the course. Reports to Golf Professional.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enforces club’s golf rules and policies.

• Be engaging with the membership.

• Arranges players in proper starting order and Tries to maintain that order.

• Assigns players to the tee.

• Provides information regarding course, playtime and other golf-related issues.

• Verifies that all revenues have been properly recorded by inspecting receipts for all players before they depart to course.

• Keeps daily records of play: members’ & guests cart rentals, trail fees, complimentary rounds.

• May perform other duties if requested.

Skills, knowledge, and other abilities:

This position requires knowledge of golf rules, regulations, and procedures. The incumbent should be capable of timing and managing players to achieve smooth flow of play.
