Job title: Tailor
Job type: full-time

Location: Pavilion, KL

Role purpose:

• Tailors use their knowledge of garment construction
• knowledge of different fashions, human body shapes, sewing skills
• Knowledge of tailoring techniques and style to fit, alter, and create garments to client specifications

Principal accountabilities:

• Responsible for constructing, altering, repairing, or modifying garments for customers based on their specifications, needs, and preferences.
• Take customers' measurement, assist in fabric selection, and arrange fittings to determine whether additional adjustments are needed.
• Alters garment and joins parts, using needle and thread or sewing machine, to form finished garment.
• Sews buttons and buttonholes to finish garment.
• Presses garment, using hand iron or pressing machine.
• Manage all the alteration and delivery dates on our system and make sure that the delivery days are accomplished
• Ensure all the materials needed are available to do the alterations.

Skills/ Knowledge:

• Possess minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field or proven work experience in Alteration / Tailoring
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Must be able to fulfil the minimum productivity points (90 points) on daily basis.
• Able to work in fast-paced working environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Yearly bonus

• Bukit Bintang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
