BAT DIGITAL BUSINESS SERVICE IS LOOKING FOR TEAM LEAD – RECORDS TO REPORT

SENIORITY LEVEL: Non-Management

FUNCTION: Finance – PCCOE

SALARY RANGE: Starting at RM 5,400 + Excellent Benefits + Bonus

LOCATION: Sunway Geo Tower, Bandar Sunway


ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

  • The Team Lead - Records to Report is responsible to support the PCCOE function by ensuring the required reports and product costing enquires are delivered timely, accurately and at minimum cost while maintaining excellent communication with partners of the AMSSA region.

Reports To: Assistant Manager – Records to Report

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: AMSSA


WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • To keep track of and complete a range of assigned tasks, such as NPI Costing, reconciliations, transaction processing, financial analysis and reporting, using the appropriate system (SAP-ECC) and agreed standard processes.
  • Coordinate and perform period-end activities including Material Ledger to ensure period is closed as per timetable agreed.
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports as per agreed timeline, to facilitate end markets’ review and analysis.
  • Response to queries in a timely and efficient manner to promote a business partnering culture in GBS.
  • Prepare important metric statistics to ensure KPIs continue to meet agreed standards and proactively manage the reverse KPIs.
  • Ensure internal controls are adhered to and provide support to audit process so that entity can manage the balance of risk and control effectively.
  • Review and update task level descriptions or process manuals as and when there are changes to ensure knowledge retention and to assist back-ups performing tasks on behalf.
  • Assist line manager in delivering migration project to ensure smooth transition of tasks from end markets to BASS.
  • Support line manager with ad-hoc analysis and activities/project in order to achieve company’s integration and overall objectives (i.e., help GL team in analyzing FI-CO reconciliation).
  • Perform testing of new systems/technology and processes as and when required to minimize potential problems to operations.
  • Assist and support the training and development within the team to meet the encouraged skills required to perform at role level.
  • Supervise resource use and coordinate the resource allocation to improve team resources.
  • Continue to improve the control environment for R2R, through training and awareness building.
  • Identify and actively pursue continuous improvement opportunities to increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of processes in BASS.

  • Do you have proven knowledge in Forecasting, Budgeting and MEC?
  • Are you able to commit to shift workdays when required?


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Preferably to have supervisory capacity and experience using SAP system
  • Sophisticated level of MS Office and PPT
  • Understand and able to apply relevant financial skills & knowledge
  • Good time management and organizational skills
