Core Job Responsibilities
- Provide front-line support for test station downtime to ensure a smooth manufacturing operation.
- Assist in duplication, documentation, assembly and deployment of automated test solutions for the manufacture of computer-based instruments.
- Act as calibration equipment coordinator to ensure the instrument are sent for calibration, received and installed after calibration.
- Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance (PM) to the test stations. Manage manufacturing equipment’s and spare parts.
- Interface with the engineering team and production regarding test issues and system development.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting a multitude of test systems and device under test issues.
- Must have demonstrated a track record of assisting in the development and implementation of manufacturing test platforms/solutions for a high mix, low volume, high tech electronics environment.
- Technical proficiency with analog and digital electronic/electrical principles.
- Familiarity with calibration and measurement methodologies.
- Must be able to function in a highly relationship-based global environment.
- Must be hands-on and resourceful, possess a strong work ethic, and be attentive to current and future customer requirements, both internal and external. The individual must have the intellect and team skills to work among capable, results-oriented peers.
- Preferred Skills Working knowledge of programming in at least one of the following: LabVIEW, Lab Windows, Test Stand, C/C++/C# or equivalent.
- Familiarity with multiple bus architectures (PCI/PCIe, PXI/PXIe, GPIB, Serial, USB etc) and data communication technologies.
- Experiences with ICT process & Instrument calibration activity is a bonus.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial Control Systems, or equivalent from an accredited program.
Experience
- 1 to 5 years of appropriate experience in the area of manufacturing test system support and development.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting a multitude of test systems and device under test issues.
- Having Preventive Maintenance (PM) execution experience is an advantage.
- Experience on managing equipment calibration process is an advantage.
- Must have demonstrated a track record of assisting in the development and implementation of manufacturing test platforms/solutions for a high mix, low volume, high tech electronics environment.
