Description:

In need of a contractor to help support them while one of their permanent team members is out on leave. The individual in this role will train for 2 months before leaving. The estimated total duration will be 5-8 months.

This person will join a scheduling / compliance team responsible for coordination of tasks within SharePoint. They will also work primarily in JAMS. JAMS is a centralized job scheduler and workload automation solution that runs, monitors, and manages IT and business processes across the organization. This person will be trained on JAMS but will need to have basic SharePoint experience. Most of the experience will be administrative (modifying permissions, user support, assist with walk through screens).

The biggest nontechnical skills will be attention to detail, good organization, and customer service. Good written skills are a must as well. This person will collaborate often in MS Teams and via email.

The users that will be supported will be all IT users and employees.

Job duties from the manager:

1. Must have experience working with Sharepoint (updating site content, updating permissions)

2. Must have experience using Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

3. Experience with job scheduling tools is a plus (we use JAMS)

4. Must be very detailed orientated

5. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

6. Provide user support via phone calls and Teams (chat tool)

7. Able to work independently

8. Experience troubleshooting and communicating IT issues is a plus

9. Must be able to follow company change management policies

10. Must be able to meet task deadlines for IT compliance work due on a monthly basis
