The Warehouse & Logistics Manager ensures the execution of local logistic services within his country/cluster. W&L Manager is part of the Supply Chain organization. The JDE Supply chain manages the total network of goods movement from JDE Manufacturing plants and/or Suppliers to the Retailers/Distributors. The organization / process overview of the Supply Chain organization, led by the Regional Head of Supply Chain includes Customer Service, Demand Planning, Warehouse & Distribution.
The scope is management & execution of warehouse activities at Hub and distribution of our (semi) finished products:
- From factory/ third party (Co-Manufacturer/ supplier) to the warehouse (SIT)
- From warehouse to other JDE entities (intercompany deliveries)
- To and from Co-Packers ( in case of external one)
- Customs processes
- From one L plant to another L plant within Malaysia
- Continuing Improvement processes (CIP)
Performance is measured by the KPI: W&D costs as % of turnover, OTIF. W&D activities either outsourced to third-party Logistic Service Providers with whom intensive stakeholder management is needed.
University Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Controlling or Finance.
Must have:
- 7+ years of Supply chain/logistics experience;
- FMCG experience;
- Good command of SAP / MS office / Business intelligence tools;
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of Asian logistics networks;
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results approach;
- Successful experience in benchmarking local organizations;
- Previous LSP or 4PLs management.
