We are seeking for experienced WMS System Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in implementing, configuring and integrating warehouse management solutions, preferably latest versions of Warehouse Management Systems from JDA, Manhattan Associates, Oracle or SAP.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for WMS implementations which include system configuration, build and integration
• Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentations throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop utilities, procedures, and documentations based on business requirements
• Perform application installation and upgrade, including configuration and integration with third party solutions
• Collaborate with business / operation teams to translate business requirements into IT solutions
• Collaborate with business / operation teams to drive operational improvements
• Ensure service requests and incidents are resolved within SLAs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies, Information Technology or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in implementing and supporting WMS systems, preferably in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) environment
• Experience in common B2B and B2C integration technologies (i.e. protocols and message standards, requirements and data mapping, visibility tools etc.)
• Experience in Crystal Report, SQL commands and automation scripts
• Good understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) / ERP Systems
• Good understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution functional concepts
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management
• Strong problem-solving skills and communications skills
• Willing to work in Shah Alam / Bayan Lepas as we have multiple positions available.

Required Technical Skills

• LINUX or other flavour of the UNIX operating system – Be able to

o Navigate the File System
o Determine process CPU and memory usage
o Determine filesystem full and find large files consuming disk
o Knowledge of Printer setup
o SSH/telnet
o Broad knowledge of commands
o Find large file
o Editor such as vi, nano

• Oracle Knowledge

o Understand what a relational Database is
o Be able to execute basic SQL, select, update delete truncate, join 2 tables
o Some knowledge on process to determine a query needs tuning

• Windows Servers

o Understanding of Security
o IIS

• Network

o Understanding of how load balancers function

• Scheduling

o Product skills in one of Control-M, Tivoli, Automic, cron

• Software Development Life Cycle

o Version control theory, skills in a version control application, such as git, svn, accurev, pvcs or other
o Some understanding of the DevOps methodology. Automated testing, automated deployment, fail fast, accelerating deployments

• Environment Management

o Understand different Environment usages, Dev, UAT, QA, Production
o Capacity Mangement

• Monitoring

o Knows why we monitor
o Knowledge on any tools, such as Splunk, OVO, Tivoli, Prometheus, StackDriver

• Web Servers

o Knowledge of Apache, nginx, websphere, IIS, etc

• Scripting

o Be able to write shell scripts

Experience

• Application deployment, Patch Deployment
• Patching 3rd Party Applications such as Java, Apache, Oracle Client
• Incident Management
• A few years managing a small team
